Issue 03: Inner Child

Issue Three, the "Inner Child" issue, will explore our younger selves and what they have to say now. How did they help us become who we are today? How did we develop from them? We all have an inner child that guides us through life, but do we loose touch with them? Lets regain that connection. Growing up is overrated anyway!  Get lost in your nostalgia, find your most childish self, and let them speak their mind. Let your Inner Child be heard!

Submit your work below! Submissions close September15th!

Social Media

We are always looking to share work on our digital platforms so remember to TAG US IN YOUR WORK ON INSTAGRAM for us to have a chance to find, and re-post work there!  We aren’t as restricted with image dimensions and resolution, concept themes, and page layout etc, as we are when selecting for print.

Contributor Transparency

One of our most important goals we're working towards is being able to gift magazines and offer fees for contributions, however at the moment we're not able to do that just yet! We value transparency, and with that being said, at the moment our budget goes towards the printing of the magazine, which sadly leaves no room for us to give away copies or offer fees. This is in-part because we believe in our ethos of exclusively featuring BIPOC and/or queer creatives, and don't sell out to brand ads/ sponsorships in our magazine that don't fit with this. For this reason, we currently only print once a year, and we certainly don't take home a pay, and won't until our contributors do first!

We like to be upfront about this to give contributors the choice on if they want to proceed on a collaboration basis or not! :) As we grow, we know one day we'll be able to achieve our goal of offering commissions and gifting copies.
